A Shape CRM alternative that doesn’t bill you per seat.
Shape is a mortgage CRM priced per user. TheBigBot is a flat-price platform with unlimited users that also builds the website and runs the marketing generating those leads. The difference shows up the month you add your third loan officer.
Shape charges $119 per user, per month. TheBigBot charges a flat $197 or $497 a month with unlimited users, and includes the website, content and campaigns as well as the CRM. At one seat Shape is cheaper. At two it is not, and the gap widens with every person you hire.
The pricing model is the real difference.
Shape publishes its pricing, which we respect and will return the favour on. As of September 2026 it runs a single published tier at $119 per user, per month, with custom quotes for enterprise buyers. That tier includes the CRM, built-in calling and texting, sales automation, marketing sequences, document storage and reporting.
Read that structure again, because it has a consequence people miss at signup: your bill goes up when you hire, not when you sell. One loan officer is $119. Add a processor and an assistant and it is $357. A five-person branch is $595 a month before anyone has closed anything.
TheBigBot charges a flat $197 or $497 a month and does not count seats. Put the whole team on it, plus your partners, and the plan price is identical. Usage — the AI minutes, SMS and email — is billed separately at cost and published on our usage fees page, so we are not pretending it is free. It is a fundamentally different curve as you grow.
The second difference is scope. Shape is a CRM that connects to the LOS and the marketing stack you already run. TheBigBot includes the parts that generate the leads — the website, the funnels, the campaigns and, on the Pro plan, weekly content published under your brand — alongside an AI receptionist answering the phone 24/7. Whether that is an advantage depends entirely on whether you already have those things and like them.
Shape vs. TheBigBot.
A mortgage CRM priced by the seat, and a flat-price platform that also builds the marketing. Both hold your pipeline; the similarity mostly ends there.

What Shape is genuinely good at.
Shape is a mature, mortgage-specific CRM with a published price. That deserves saying, and there are cases where it is the better buy.
Deeper mortgage plumbing
LendingDox and a LoanSifter integration for live rate pricing are mortgage-specific connections we do not currently match
One published price
$119 per user, per month, stated openly rather than hidden behind a quote call
Cheaper for a solo LO
At a single seat Shape is $119 against our $197. If a CRM is genuinely all you need, that arithmetic favours them
Where TheBigBot works differently.
A CRM stores the pipeline. This is what sits around it.
Seats do not change the bill
Add loan officers, processors, assistants and partners — the plan price is the same
The marketing is included
Website up to 50 pages, funnels and campaigns, plus weekly content and social on Pro
The phone is answered
An AI receptionist takes inbound calls 24/7, several at once, and books into your calendar
Every call starts a sequence
Callers land in a pipeline with SMS, email and voice follow-up already scheduled
Reviews on autopilot
The review request fires weeks after closing without anyone remembering to send it
One record per borrower
Call, text, email and booking history in one place instead of split across vendors
Be honest about what you need.
We would rather you pick the right tool than churn in month three.
You need a mortgage CRM and nothing else.
- You are one or two licensed users, where per-seat pricing is still the cheaper side of the arithmetic.
- You need LendingDox, or live rate pricing through LoanSifter, specifically.
- You already have a website, a marketing engine and someone answering the phone, and you like all three.
- Your headcount is small and stable, so a per-seat bill stays predictable.
You want the leads generated, answered and worked.
- You are adding people, and you do not want the software bill to grow with headcount.
- Nobody answers the phone after 5pm, and the calls that go to voicemail do not call back.
- You are paying separately for a website, a CRM, an email tool and an answering service.
- You want the marketing that produces the pipeline, not only the place the pipeline is stored.
Running the numbers honestly.
At one seat, Shape is $119 a month and TheBigBot Launch is $197 plus a $499 one-time setup. Shape is cheaper, and if a CRM is all you need, take it — we would rather say that than win the sale and lose you in month three.
At two seats Shape is $238 against our flat $197. At five it is $595. At ten it is $1,190. Our plan price does not move at any of those points, because we do not count seats. That is the whole argument, and it is arithmetic rather than opinion.
Where we will not oversell: our $499 setup fee is real and Shape does not publish one. Our AI minutes, SMS and email are a variable usage line rather than an included allotment. And Shape’s LendingDox support and LoanSifter pricing-engine integration are genuine mortgage connections we do not match — if your workflow depends on either, that outweighs the seat maths.
Bring your actual seat count and call volume to the demo and we will run this with your numbers instead of ours.
