A Lawmatics alternative where the AI answers the phone.
Lawmatics is a legal CRM for intake and marketing automation, priced per user with seat minimums. TheBigBot answers every intake call itself, at one flat price for the whole firm.
Short answer
Lawmatics is an AI-powered legal CRM for client intake, marketing automation, e-signature and reporting. Its plans need at least 3 users (5 on Enterprise), the entry plan includes 500 contacts, and prices are by quote. It does not answer calls itself; it connects to answering services such as Smith.ai. TheBigBot’s AI answers every intake call 24/7, runs a conflict pre-screen and books the consult, at $197 or $497 a month for unlimited users.
Lawmatics organizes intake. TheBigBot does it.
Lawmatics bills itself as “an AI-powered legal CRM”. Its products are client intake with custom forms and appointment booking, a legal CRM with pipelines, texting, a client portal and conflict checking, email marketing automation, e-signature, time and billing, and reporting. Its Merlin AI add-ons cover lead scoring, AI outreach agents and an automation builder, some of them marked coming soon.
Its pricing page lists three plans. Essential needs at least 3 users and includes 500 contacts. Premium needs 3 users and includes 10,000 contacts, adding workflow and marketing automation, advanced conflict checking and ROI reporting. Enterprise needs 5 users. None of the prices are published; Lawmatics quotes each firm after a demo.
What Lawmatics does not do is pick up the phone. It integrates with answering services such as Smith.ai and LEX Reception, which you pay for separately. TheBigBot’s AI is the answering service: it answers every intake call and web lead in under a minute, day or night, captures the matter details, runs a conflict pre-screen and books the consultation. See it on our law firm CRM page.

Done for you
We build the site, connect your number and load the intake scripts; Launch is live in 3 days
Be honest about what you need.
We would rather you pick the right tool than switch again in month three.
You have an intake team and want a deep legal CRM.
- Staff already answer intake calls, or you already pay an answering service.
- You need its practice management integrations and time and billing add-on.
- You run email marketing campaigns and want ROI reporting by source.
- Three or more people will use it every day.
Intake calls go to voicemail.
- You are a solo or small firm, and a three-seat minimum does not fit.
- Prospects call after hours and nobody answers.
- You want intake, CRM, website and follow-up in one place.
- You want a published price instead of a quote.
How much does TheBigBot cost?
No quote call to find out what it costs. Both plans include all 22 platform features — the difference is how much content and social firepower we produce for you each month.
